How To Not Give Up When Playing A Tough Sports, since when the bumps and the bruises start to accumulate, you will have a very hard time physically and mentally trying to stay in the game, trying to become the victorious Hero, and trying to win at all cost. Also don't think that when I am talking about how not to give up, that I only mean the person who walks away from the field. For in many games or sports matches, you have seen the Athletes give up by half-time mentally, or you have seen the great fever of fear, of intimidation, of pressure and of inferiority set in, and one or two players infect the whole team, and they all start to give up. So you must also be aware of this, since it is a great part of giving up. So what is the difference between a Quitter and a person who Perseveres no matter what?


A quitter will always have their limit, or their weaknesses, or their push buttons that will make them give up mentally and then physically. Also a quitter will always give you a list of excuses, as well play victim to circumstances of life. And a quitter in sports or in life for that matter, will use words like: Impossible, Unfortunate, Inexplicable, Only Human, Only God Knows, Did the best I could...


But a Winner or the person who perseveres will use words like: Never Give Up, Never Surrender, I am the best, If it is to be done it is up to me, All things are possible, There is always a way, Must be the very best of the best, Success is mine, Opportunity is my slave... And so a Winner in sports or life in general, will have no limit, will not have any weak push buttons, will not give up mentally or physically, will never accept defeat. 10 Things To Do To Be The Best At Sports, because life is not complicated. And it is Us, human beings, who seem to go to great length to find ways to complicate life fully, and no matter how a Scientist will devote his entire life to discover Truth for us, and make things simple, we will always start to break it down and re-complicate things. And so this is why you are always told, after failures, to always get back to the basics, to always to go back to Genesis or origin. Because that is when things work, that is when you will re-connect with all true things that work. And in playing sports, the rules are the same, the advice is the same and the must-dos are the same. Just do the simple things that you have been shown and told all your life, and you will be successful.  And so today I share with you some of the basic things you can do each and every day to be the very best at playing any Sports, and by doing those things on a daily basis you will be the strongest, the healthiest, the fastest, the best thinker, the most well rested and the greatest legend of all times. 7 WAYS TO SUCCEED PLAYING SPORTS
Because you have to, you can not afford to keep on being weak or getting sick. Besides, you need to get together with your friends and socialize, you need to breathe some fresh air, but before you do all that you have to know how to succeed when playing Sports, how to persevere, how to deal with the pain that your body will feel when it is faced with stress.

1. “Welcome the pain”
Yep! Welcome the pain. Accept it willingly.
There’s a saying, “Pain is weakness leaving the body”, which means to say, no matter how tough or how much pain you’re feeling, you’re going to emerge stronger after that. So don’t be afraid when things get tough. Push yourself to accept what is coming instead and know that you’re going to grow from it.


2. “Look forward to feeling good”

This is my main, personal method in motivating myself. I believe that when you work hard, the feeling you get after that is the reward. The sense of satisfaction and accomplishment is the backbone of it all.
The fitness mantra, “Do you want to be sore, or sorry later?” works the same way.
So only aim for the feeling. Ask yourself how you want to feel later only. Forget about how you’d feel in between.

3. “Stop moving forward, take a step back instead”

Stop progressing altogether for a second. Just stop.
Take a step back instead.
It may seem paradoxical, but you know what it can do for you? You’ll be able to gain more clarity.
Go back for a second, re-evaluate your goals and remember your why. This effectively gives you the motivation to move forward.
And you’ll make better progress.


4. “Quit”

Or better yet, quit. Give up altogether on what you’re doing.
This requires some reflection and evaluation though. Sometimes quitting is the best thing you can do. You just have to realize that what you’re doing isn’t helping you anymore.
And after you quit, you’re free to do whatever you want as you’re no longer trapped by whatever it is which held you down.

5. ”Have a really good break”

This kind of goes hand in hand with point (2): Look forward to feeling good.
I find that a lot of people have lousy breaks. They don’t do themselves the favour they deserve. E.g. Instead of recognizing that a break time is a time to recharge, they end up being completely idle by doing mindless things like surfing Facebook, Twitter or watching random YouTube videos they aren’t even interested in watching in the first place. That is dead time. It does not help you at all and before you know it, you’re back to work.


6. “Failure is your best friend”

Or, failure is your ally.
Embrace failure, for it will give you the best and most meaningful lessons you actually need to move forward. That being said, failure is not the end.
When you don’t get the results you want, it doesn’t mean it’s over. Instead, you’re given the opportunity to learn and grow the fastest way possible.

7. ”Have fun”

Whatever it is in life, just have fun. Make that your sole aim.
Don’t take life so seriously. Laugh at your mistakes. Never sweat the small stuff. Just have fun, and be thankful for what you have, and that everything is going to be okay anyway.

Is an activity which you must perform whether you want to or not, because of all the many great benefits it carries to bless you with. And you don't have to be Mr. Atlas when it comes to strength training, because all it takes for you to get moving is to find something that feels a little bit heavy for you, and begin to move in a repetitive way a few times, anywhere from 6 to 12 times, and then you are on your way to building strength. And really, you always have to remember that for anything in life to be a success for you, they must be kept simple and not complicated. And You know this already, so don't let the so-called Experts make things complicated for you.

STRENGTH TRAINING...
Has to be fun for you to Begin doing it and keep on doing it. And all you have to do is look around your house for a few things and begin your strength training. For example, you just grab two gallons of water and begin to lift them 6 to 12 times, and do that 3 or 4 times in a row. Or just pick up a couple of flower pots and begin lifting them the same amount of times I mentioned above. And then you will be getting strong in no time at all... Just Use Your Mind and Creativity, and you will see that strength training is quite fun.

Fencing... Why Has This Sports Survived So Long. Because when it comes to Fencing... You would think since Mankind has stopped using  swords as an effective weapon to pierce each other's heart, as well as cut each other's throat, and has now started using guns to maim and kill each other, that Fencing, or anything with swords would have died out as well. But No, all because a Sword represents an extension of a Man's Ego, or private personal part. And so he simply can not give it up, and has to make a Sword or Epee, a ceremonial event. And this is why even The Military uses the sword as part of their ceremonial duty for Officer and Enlisted personnel, starting with the rank of Corporal. And not to forget that Mankind Loves Games, and as much he or she claims they are Grown Ups, they are all just grown up children and just love to play games still. And so since swords were not effective tool battles, then they decided in the late 1800 to turn them into a game called Fencing. And so this is why this Sports has survived for so long... Now, Let's Take A Look At A Bit Of History About Fencing:

History of Fencing at the Olympic Games

At the first modern Olympic Games of 1896, the Fencing programme consisted of men’s Foil and Sabre events, with Epée making its debut at Paris 1900. Women’s Foil first featured at the Paris 1924 Games, with Epée and Sabre added in 1996 and 2004 respectively.

Each country is limited to eight men and eight women across all events, which equates to three athletes in men’s and women’s Individual and Team Foil, men’s Individual and Team Sabre, and women’s Individual and Team Epée, and two athletes in men’s Individual Epée and women’s Individual Sabre.


These days we have an electronic scoring system.  The first appearance of electronic scoring was in the Berlin games in 1936.  The blades have a circuit on them that tells if the person has scored a point.  A touch of 1 lbs. & 1 ½ of ounces in the foil or 1 lbs. & 10 ½ ounces in epee is registered as a point.  A red light or green light means that one fencer has landed a hit in a valid target area; the fencer that gets the point is the one that makes the hit that is decided by right-of-way by the referees.  A white light means that the hit was not valid.  Multiple lights mean that the referee will decide who gets the point according the rule of right-of-way.  In the epee event the point will be awarded to both fencers.  You’re probably wondering what the rule of right-of-way rule is.  It is a rule that stops both fencers from getting a point if they touch at the same time.  The referee will decide who will be getting the point by seeing which light went on first.  In an epee match the point is awarded to both fencers because there is no right-of-way rule in an epee event.  To win you must score 15 hits on your opponent



Fact 1:The tip of the fencing weapon is the second fastest moving object in sport after the marksman's bullet.

Fact 2:
Fencing has been included in every Olympic game since 1898.

Fact 3:
The fencing suits are white, because in earlier times, touching was recorded with a piece of cotton at the tip of the weapon dripped in ink.

Fact 4:
It wasn't until 1898 that the 4 minutes timing limit has been invented.
Fencing, which is also known as modern fencing to distinguish it from historical fencing, is a family of combat sports using bladed weapons.

Fencing is one of four sports which have been featured at every one of the modern Olympic Games. The sport of fencing is divided into three weapons:
  • Foil—a light thrusting weapon that targets the torso, including the back, but not the arms. Touches are scored only with the tip; hits with the side of the blade do not count, and do not halt the action. Touches that land outside of the target area (off-target) stop the action, and are not scored. Only a single hit can be scored by either fencer at one time. If both fencers hit at the same time, the referee uses the rules of right of way to determine which fencer gets the point.

  • Sabre—a light cutting and thrusting weapon that targets the entire body above the waist, excluding the hands. Hits with the edges of the blade as well as the tip are valid. As in foil, touches which land outside of the target area are not scored. However, unlike foil, these off-target touches do not stop the action, and the fencing continues. In the case of both fencers landing a scoring touch, the referee determines which fencer receives the point for the action.
  • Épée—a heavier thrusting weapon that targets the entire body. All hits must be with the tip and not the sides of the blade. Touches hit by the side of the blade do not halt the action. Unlike foil and sabre, Épée does not use right of way, and allows simultaneous hits by both fencers. However, if the score is tied at the last point and a double touch is scored, nobody is awarded the point



Fact 5:President Theodor Roosevelt and Winston Churchill are former fencers.

The first electronic scoring machine for fencing was invented in 1936.

Fencing as a game goes back to as early as 1200 A.D.

Fact 8:
The categories of fencing under the Olympics are; Foil, Epee, and Sabre.

Fact 9:
Fencing is known for being the only combat sport with no weight classes.

Fact 10:
Many of the ballet positions are derived from fencing.

 
In the Olympics In the Olympic games fencing has two man-to-man or, in this case, woman-to-woman events, the men and women’s.  There is an Epee event, Foil event and a Sabre event for the men as I already stated above.  The women are no different, or, have the same events except they do not have the Sabre event.  In the team events 12 countries may enter 3 people each.  Once that happens they enter a match.  The first team to score 45 hits will be the winners.
Men and women battle on a certain surface too.  It is called a "Piste" which is a strip of metallic mesh that is 6 feet long and 7 feet wide.  The "En Garde" lines are 6 feet 7 inches from the centerline
